First and foremost in this post I have to thank the PostSecret Community and the message boards there as a forum where people shared their secrets & lies. Everything that appears here has been oked by the author for me to display.
So many people responded, and I commend each and every person for their bravery and honesty (yes, even though we are talking about lies.) I think its great!!!
my secrets & lies are also mixed in :)
Secret: I'm lying.
Lie: I'm completely comfortable with the person that I am.
Secret: I love a boy with all my heart
Lie: I love my father
Secret: I know you're destroying your life. I know you just had his baby and all, but you would be so much better if you tried everything on your own. I can't tell you this, because everytime I try, you get angry.
Lie: I'm happy for you.
secret: I 'm better--I'm changed, & I regret what I did.
lie: I don't regret anything i did; i regret that i got caught.
s:I HATE looking at myself in the mirror with other people around.
l:I tell people (and act like) I'm completely happy with myself.
1 secret: I'm jealous of a lot of my friends.
1 lie: I am happy with the choices my brother is making
Secret: I care about things more than anyone knows. I even feel bad about killing bugs. I hate hurting anything.
Lie: My eyes are the one thing that I dont like about my body.
(Truth is, they are the only thing I like).
one secret - i've just thought long and hard about a secret that i haven't told anyone yet, and nothing comes to mind. that scares me, that i might not have anymore secrets left to share.
one lie - it wasn't about the money.
Secret - I wish I would be diagnosed with body dismorphia, just so I would know that what I see in the mirror isn't really me.
Lie - I like food too much to ever have an eating disorder.
Secret: I'd never kill myself. But sometimes I wish I'd just never wake up.
Lie: I'm okay, I promise.
Secret- I could get lost in your eyes so easily, but I don't let myself.
Lie- I love hospitals.
Secret: I'm absolutely terrified that my autistic brother will never grow up and be able to live a normal life.
Lie: I never think about cutting anymore.

I LOVE THESE!!!! can relate to almost all of them
ONE SECRET: Even though we're still young and I always joke about how we won't stay together long... If you asked me to marry you, I would say yes in a heart beat.
ONE LIE: I don't just ignore you and shrug it off whenever you say something about my weight; I just say to myself, "well death is always an option"
